Dream Theatre really believes that soccer is the sport of choice for the next generation -its fast pace, aspirational appeal and sheer rise in viewership are sure shot signs of its growing influence. Viewership numbers show 66% of sports viewers across the country switched over to soccer during the FIFA World Cup 2014.
Dream Theatre made its first foray in football by partnering with FIFA 2014 to launch FIFA’s licensed lifestyle merchandise collection in India. FIFA 2014 apparel, eyewear and watches were a big hit among fans, retailing from across 250+ retail outlets and leading e-commerce platforms across India. In 2017, we have partnered with FIFA to launch fan wear & merchandise for the prestigious under-17 FIFA World Cup in India. Dream Theatre is looking forward to supporting the 2018 World Cup in Russia as well and will see a massive rollout of licensed merchandise and retail activation, both online and offline.
