Contestants can win up to $100,000 on the mobile game adaptation hosted by Mario Lopez
A game show adaptation of Candy Crush, the smash hit mobile game, is coming to CBS this summer and we can’t wait for it to come to India!
Hosted by Mario Lopez, the hour-long show will feature four teams competing against each other in a massive arena. In an attempt to win up to $100,000, contestants will swing, slide, and swipe to match candies and defeat obstacles, which includes scaling a giant virtual game board.
On average, the King mobile game and its sister title, Candy Crush Soda Saga, are played 18 billion rounds per month worldwide. The series is produced by Pulse Creative in association with Lionsgate, King Ltd., and CBS Television Studios.
Candy Crush premieres Sunday, July 9 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.

Candy Crush Saga is a match three-puzzle game that was launched in 2012 for Facebook, and later as a mobile app for smart phones. While it has remained one of the top grossing games in the chart, it’s recently launched sister title Candy Crush Sage is also hugely popular. Together, they draw around 91 million players every day*. In order to leverage it’s unmatched following, Dream Theatre will help King to build its licensing programme for the emerging market of South Asia. It will build a varied portfolio of designer apparel, accessories, handbags, shoes and home furnishings.
Dream Theatre is collaborating with and seeking licensees across categories like young adult apparel, gadget accessories, fashion accessories, candy, gifts & novelties. The products will be rolled out in 2015.

Angry Birds at Siliguri!
Angry Birds is always the star attraction at events encouraging footfalls and giving everyone an opportunity to experience the brand up-close.
Since Angry Birds inception in December 2009, the game has garnered 2.5 billion downloads globally. One of the most downloaded games of all time, Angry Birds is now coming to life at the Kids-o-fest, East India’s first and biggest kids and Inter School Festival. The fest connects business and brands with school, kids and family.
Kids-o-fest was a four-day event organized by Shri Ram Centennial School and Savin Kingdom, commenced from December 18th to 1st. The fest was held at Savin Kingdom in Dagapur where an inter-school fest called ‘Blitzkrieg 2014’ was also held. Students from more than 200 schools in and around Siliguri had come participate in the event.

Angry Birds’ branded products are now available across 1,500 stores besides multiple online platforms.
Outfit7 Ltd and Dream Theatre Pvt Ltd announced their partnership for taking Talking Tom and Friends to greater heights and to have access to licensed merchandise in India.
Talking Tom and Friends has seen enormous success in its four-year lifecycle, having extended from a series of apps to a global entertainment franchise. The first “Talking Tom” app was launched four years ago and the franchise has grown exponentially since. Outfit7 recently announced that the apps have been downloaded over 2 billion times.
With this partnership, Dream Theatre Pvt. Ltd. has added another digital powerhouse brand to their existing success in this space.
