Dream Theatre and FIFA 2014 merchandise
Dream Theatre believes that though India is a cricket playing and watching country, soccer is growing in aspiration and appeal by leaps and bounds. Viewership numbers show 66% of sports viewers across the country switched over to soccer during the big tournaments such as FIFA World Cup.
Dream Theatre made its first foray in Football by partnering with Pacific Licensing Studio (PLS), FIFA’s appointed licensing agent for South East Asia, to launch FIFA’s licensed merchandise collection in India.
The licensed products included FIFA 2014 apparel, eyewear and watches. The range was a super hit among millions of Indian FIFA fans and retailed across 250 retail outlets across India. Prominent retail partners included Shoppers Stop, Future Group's Pantaloon, Lifestyle International and Arvind Lifestyle Brands, besides online retailers such as Myntra, Jabong and Flipkart.
